Recreational Boating Information for the Northwest

Narrows Marina is a full service marina located in the shadow of the Narrows Bridge, known as Day Island, on Tacoma's West Slope, serving Tacoma, Gig Harbor, all of Pierce County and the South Sound. The marina is family owned/operated and has been serving boating enthusiasts since 1949.

The fuel dock maybe hard to find for some as it is tucked away in the marina. Stay to port and head towards shore, past the covered moorage. The Day Island Yacht club is towards the end of the lagoon but you should only enter at plus 4ft tide level. The club has 100ft reciprocal dock next to the boat ramp.

In 2008 the Narrows Marina began making dramatic improvements with renovation of the Old Mill Building and most recently with the start of construction on a new over water restaurant named Boathouse 19 Bar & Grill which is now open. The Narrows Marina Bait & Tackle store was moved back to its original location in the building. A portion of the Old Mill Building is the Narrows Brewing Company which opened July 2013. Also note as of 2012, Day Island Boatworks has closed.
