Yacht Club Reciprocal Moorage
For those of you that belong to a yacht club, you might finding yourself using your reciprocal privileges more and more these days. After fueling up, free moorage is starting to sound nice. 

For those who don't belong to a yacht club and like to cruise throughout the year, becoming a club member might be something to look into.

Below we have featured, what we believe to be, the 5 best Reciprocal Moorage Yacht Clubs in the Northwest and we've added some honourable mentions as well.

Yacht clubs listed on this page are personal recommendations and was based on our personnel experiences only. 

#1 Poulsbo Yacht Club

P.Y.C. has 250 feet of reciprocal moorage in the middle of one of Puget Sound's most popular cruising destinations. P.Y.C. marina is the second marina on starboard upon entering Liberty Bay.

P.Y.C. features include, power (small fee), water, restrooms, showers and laundry. Additionally, there's a kids public park across the street from the club. 

Poulsbo offers restaurants, marina mart, gift shops, Poulsbo bakery, coffee shops and more. Uptown you'll find major grocery stores along with drug stores and a liquor store. Clear Water Casino offers free shuttle service from Poulsbo's waterfront.

Most of Liberty Bay is covered by BroadbandXpress Wireless Internet. Downtown Poulsbo is within walking distance or just a small dinghy ride away. You can also walk uptown or cab it for major grocery shopping and more. Fuel dock at public marina. Members are very friendly and always welcome you in!  
#2 Fox Island Yacht Club

F.I.Y.C. is located in Cedrona Cove on the East side and is about 3 miles SW of the Narrows Bridge. 80 feet of reciprocal moorage along with 4 mooring buoys inside the harbor. Be awaire of low tide, only 4+ feet at the end of the dock during low tide.

Features include, power (small fee), water along with restrooms and showers when clubhouse is open. The club grounds are beautiful and well maintained with a kids play area and a sports court.

Not much else here, no stores and things of that nature but if you're looking to relax, you've found it! A great getaway...

#3 Olympia Yacht Club 

O.Y.C. offers 175 feet of reciprocal moorage on "D" dock which is adjacent to Percival Landing directly in front of the yacht club building. You need to sign in with the caretakers and acuire a key card which they will ask for a refundable deposit.

Yacht club offers power ( small fee), water, restrooms, showers and close by is a deli and a market.

From the clubhouse you'll be in walking distance to businesses, services and local attractions. 

#4 Bremerton Yacht Club

B.Y.C. is located in Phinney Bay on the south side of Port Washington Narrows. 2 docks for reciprocal moorage, one 90 feet and one 75 feet. 

Yacht club offers power (small fee), water, restrooms, showers and ice. The club has a nice little park on the south side. The bay is very peaceful and a great place to relax. 

#5 Des Moines Yacht Club

D.M.Y.C. is located on the south side of Des Moines Marina. 150 feet of reciprocal moorage on the south side of dock "A". You may use yacht club dock temporarily while registering and obtaining keys.

Yacht club offers power (small fee), water, restrooms, showers and ice. There is a kids play area on the back side of the clubhouse.

Next to the club is Anthony's Home Port and just a block up is Red Robin, a gift shop and a few block further is a 7-11. On the north side of the marina is a fuel dock and guest moorage as well.
